Poor man's version of the Maison Martin Margiel Rings

So If you remember I blogged about the Maison Martin Margiel rings I wanted before, but simply couldn't afford. So I found a lady selling these stainless steel versions that were similar! Unfortunately there was only the one set and they are a solid ring so not adjustable and as a result they are ever so slightly to small for my fingers...so now i need to sell! Anyway.. Thought I'd show you lovely lot anyway! Really annoyed they don't fit! A friend of a friend who is a jewellery maker is going to have a good at making my something in silver that similar so I'm quiet excited about that!

Also check out this Staple shirt I picked up a few weeks ago at a showroom sample sale! It never creases or gets hairs stuck to it... I'm in love! Photobucket

OK so my outfit isn't anything to write home about, but I just wanted to show you my new shoes. I'm not really a 'fake' garment buyer, but there's been some Hong Kong replica shoes i've had my eye on and purchased...and i've received my first pair in the post.
I would never of been able to afford the real version of these shoes, and although the quality will be miles apart, I have to say I'm fairly pleased! They are comfortable and seem of a decent quality (for what I paid) only things is they stink like TCP at the moment! I hope that wears off...

I'll keep you updated as i get my other bargain Hong Kong bits through the post...

Lady Gaga - Marry the night new video

I'm a big Lady GaGa fan, but apart from Judas, the last few videos haven't blown me away... until today.
Marry the night has been launched today and all I can say...she's back.
She shows her past, reveals struggles and love for showbiz.

Discovering hats for winter..

My hair keeps getting longer and longer... It seems 2 minutes ago I was sobbing over the fact the creative director at Vidal Sassoon chopped it off for his "creative" portfolio! Since when did giving someone a hair cut that doesn't suit them qualify as cool?! idiot... never again!
Anyway... It's getting longer and i'm now scared to get it chopped... but don't exactly want it to grow! Either way its getting harder and longer to curl / style... bring on... the bobble hat!!
£7.99 from H&M? DONE!

Today's outfit..Plus my Mac eyelashes!

Photobucket Photobucket
Todays outfit consisted of one of the new Motel dresses (not yet out) that I borrowed as I was out and about in London today looking for new stores. I think it's important that we always represent the new stock from Motel, so although this dress isn't mine... it's defiantly worth keeping your eyes peeled for! I decided to wear no necklace today and just team with my topshop pleather jacket and suede boots!

I've also found the lashes I love from Mac... I'm always searching for the right eye lash for me and they always seems to get longer and the corners and it isn't what I wanted as it creates a different shape for my eye... I also find that these lashes are never actually longer enough for my eyes so they don't reach across my lid. I can highly recommend 'Number 3' from the Mac eyelash range and their glue I've always used! It stays put, but doesn't hurt when you remove in the evening!

November's Glossy Box...

So I love the concept of all these companies that you can sign up to and receive a selection of products you wouldn't normally buy for a monthly fee.

This month Glossy box has sent me their November package and I got really excited about receiving it this morning. It comes in super lovely postage box and then there is another really 'luxurious' style box which hold all the products from the month. I'm hoping I can find a use for the box afterwards as it feels too nice to simply throw away!
Inside this months box is:

Arbonne FC5 Ultra hydrating Hand Creme - 15ml
Dead sea Spa Magik Dead Sea Bath Salts - 250g (it seems like 1 use)
Illamasqua - Freak Eau De Parfum - 1.5ml
Monu Revitalising Moisturiser - 50ml
Nail Rock Designer Nail Wraps - Contains 16 nail wraps

I'm really excited to try the products, I've just ran out of moisturiser, been looking for an excuse to actually have a bath (i'm definatly a shower girl) and just purchased a load of bits to get into nail art, so all in all a good box for me! I've never really used hand creme, but I'll give it a go! Winter approaching so I'll try to keep the mits soft!

The pack contains useful information, discount codes and lots of tips!
I'll report back with my review of each of the products once I've tried them!

I've just signed up to get a graze box in the post this week too... I think I could get sign up happy for these products in the post!

You can sign up for Glossy box HERE for £10 a month + £2.95 shipping

Carne Griffiths 'Journey' exhibition at Gallery 90

On Friday evening I had the pleasure of attending the opening for JP's friend Carne Griffiths exhibition entitled 'Journey'. The exhibition is being held from 19th November - 4th December at Gallery 90 over in Finsbury.
Now I have no shame in admitting, although my family all seem to be artists, It's something that I've never got involved in or been part of, however, recently I've been visiting more and more exhibitions and gallery's and I've really been enjoying myself. I can't really stand in front of a piece of art and pull it apart telling you what I get or take from it, I just like it or I don't... (thats the none artist in me) but I have to say, Carnes work was probably my favourite that I've seen since visiting exhibitions and I'd happily have his work on my wall. I didn't take my camera this evening, but I've managed to get hold of some other images taken that night, along with some of Carne's work for you to see!

Camden market jewellery cravings

Going to Camden market on friday was nice, I haven't been in so long! It reminded me why I don't go shopping in London though! It just creates a big WANT list!

I'm going to start buying one nice piece of jewellery a month and build up a decent collection! I'll report back when I have got my first one!

Winter wonderland

Part of me still feels like its wrong that Christmas lights are up... It's doesn't feel one bit like Christmas yet. Is it my age and lack of excitement for Christmas or am I not alone In the fact that this has been the quickest year so far??
Had a visit from family this weekend and so we took a walk round parts of Kensington and ended up popping over to the hyde park winter wonderland where I got myself a cup of mulled wine (in attempt to find my Christmas spirit) and looked round the hundreds of stalls filled with Christmas treats and sweets and then I sobbed over the fact no-one would join me on one of the many funfair rides! It actually felt like winter for the first time yesterday, I better start my Christmas shopping...

The lock up 2

Last night I attend, with my good friend JP, an art exhibition opening for one of his old colleges friends art work. He was exhibiting along with others and Goldie (who also attended) at the red bill venue in London bridge, I even spyed boy George at the event! Free booze and mine and JP's love for good times = a boozy evening!

We're just getting ready for round two tonight with another of his friends exhibitions over in Finsbury park, although I only had my iPhone, you can check out some of the images from the event which is open for te next 3 night.
